Meeting on Thursday was way better that in the past, the BOD allowed each owner enough time to talk.

Issues discussed:
1) Nichols and Bluegrass will be having monthly meetings.

2) Infant swing seat will be replaced; the ones we have are inappropriate and create a liability issue.

3) There were some reports of people coming from other places and using our pool in the early hours of the morning (3am). It was suggested to have some type of motion sensor lights installed (solar) or an alarm.

4) We talked about the landscape company as the majority of the owners present were not satisfied with them.

5) We discussed the creation of a park in the green areas next to the pool. How this got to the BOD? As this is the first meeting since the “transition” that was notified to owners. I’m not in favor to have another fee increase as our HOA fees are already high compared with similar communities in the area. We need to work on priorities first, like unloading the COX contract. Then we can have nice to have things, like the park, if that is what the majority wants. We need to be fiscally responsible when it comes to the expenses of our HOA.
6) Delinquencies are being hold in the systems for at least 100 days before they get posted to our budget delinquent account.

7) We got the BOD to talk about the COX contract (they didn’t want to talk) we reminded them that they have a fiduciary duty to us. We agreed to have Special meeting just for the COX and LIM contract. It was agreed that the developer BOD was going to bring a Sandler representative who could answer why they don’t want to rescind the contract. Prepare your questions and GO TO THIS MEETING this is the only way we can protect our community.

We need to stop complaining Lips sealed and start acting.  That is the only way we can get our issues resolved.
