All,

As some of you might know Century FL is selling their contract to other providers across the state. I guess they rather sell them than deal with their mess. That said, anyone one in a community that has service from Century please email me at webadmin@banbulkbilling.com or  banbulkbillingnow@yahoo.com as I would like to do a combined effort to try to prevent them from sticking us with another long term contract.

Regards,
Webadmin

Why they want to sell the contract now?
If they are willing to sell the contract it, why they not cancel the whole deal?....

Is C. Com selling all the established contracts, but still creating new contracts on new communities. Why? Here is my take: If this is the case what they are doing is using their "Upper Hand" to lock these communities into the contracts (closing competition). Then, when the bulk agreement goes sour they make a killing selling the contract to a MVPD like BH. Clever businessmen!! C. Com gets their money BH gets their money and you guys get stuck with the same old Exclusive Bulk Billing contract.

I applaud your efforts webdmin, and I hope FL communities affected by C. com menace get together. I think the FCC should be aware of what these MVPD and PCO are trying to do to you guys…

Yes it appears that LOP and others are simply trading a small slave master, Century Communications, in for a larger slave master, Bright House Networks.

They have already been warned that, if indeed, they buy the infrastructure  AND  the
10+ year contract, they are in for an even more agressive campaign of protest than we
have given Century on FCC 07-51.  The problem is, Bright House's programming and service
is very good so probably little complaining can be done concerning those faults that were
so abundant with Century.  So the attack will be centered strickly on the bulk billing contract
especially the policy of billing empty houses.  Also, in addition to FCC 07-51, the local media
websites will also get plenty of letters to condemn the contract with Bright House.  I will also
be looking for media websites in the other areas served by Bright House (CA, IN, MI, and NY).
If anyone can help direct me to those sites, the help would be appreciated.
